Thank you for visiting my campaign website! It is truly a privilege to serve as the State Representative for House District 52 and with your help I will continue my work on your behalf at our state Capitol.
I believe my number one job as your representative is to listen to the ideas and goals of people and communities throughout the district and do my best to represent those issues and values in Austin. As one of the fastest growing areas in not only the state but the entire country, HD-52 is facing some unique challenges when it comes to infrastructure, health care, economic development and education. That is why I am committed to working with local residents, communities and businesses to find common sense solutions to these real world issues.
Our successes from the 81st Legislative Session were a great start. I was able to secure more than $27 million in funding for transportation and higher education projects throughout HD-52. I also introduced and passed legislation to increase higher education opportunities in East Williamson County, provide cities with the ability to attract new visitors and tourists and ensured our veterans who served in emergency services were able to return home to the same position they previously held.
It is now time to build upon these accomplishments and ensure that HD-52 continues to be a desirable place to live, work and play.
Personal Endorsements:
Diana was also copied on a letter a young mother sent to a local newspaper..
"My name is Paige Ammons. I am a student, single mother, and supporter of Diana Maldonado, because she is looking out for me and my family. I have gotten to know her over the past few months and know that she is a solid choice of State Representative because of her life experiences and dedication to concerns of Williamson County families. This is my first election as a parent and I think that if candidates really want to protect the lives of children then they need to do much more than claiming to be pro-family. Diana does more. Her policy initiatives will protect my son Colton, our family, and many others like us in Williamson County."
